CREEDMOOR Wy’kise Allen announced his intention to attend Johnston Community College in Smithfield.

Allen plans on playing basketball for the Jaguars in the fall.

Allen, a 2020 graduate of South Granville High School, helped lead the school to one of its most successful seasons ever at 30-1.

Allen, a 6-foot-3 forward, averaged 15.6 points per game during his senior season. He led the team in rebounding at nine per game.

He was a terror on the defensive boards, hauling down 5.9 defensive rebounds per game and cleaning the glass to the tune of 3.1 on the offensive end. He racked up 271 total rebounds during his senior year.

Allen was second on the team in steals, averaging 1.5 per game.

He was third on the team in scoring with 468 points and shot 49% from the floor. He finished with 15 double-doubles his senior season.

He shot 37% from 3-point range and 68% from the free-throw line.

Allen’s finished his career as a Vikings with 1,166 points, 649 rebounds, 222 assists, 118 steals and 21 blocks.

Allen was a leader on the court. His ability to knock down a key 3-pointer or grab a rebound and muscle the ball back up for a basket will be missed by the Viking faithful.
