CREEDMOOR — Terry Lee Whitlock, 52, a resident of Creedmoor, passed away Monday, April 29 at UNC Hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Terry worked in the tree trimming/removal business for many years.
Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. on Monday, May 6 in the Eakes Funeral Home Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. Donnie Cash. Burial was held in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Durham.
He is survived by his mother, Betty Ferguson of Creedmoor; two brothers, Jerry Whitlock (Jamie) of Wake Forest and Kenny Whitlock (Lillian) of Hopewell, Virginia; a son, Thomas Scott Whitlock of Butner, and many nieces, nephews, uncles and aunts. He was preceded in death by his stepfather, Thomas Wade Ferguson.
Terry also leaves behind his best friend, his little dog Boo Boo, which he loved so much.
Visitation was held Sunday, May 5 from 6-8 p.m. at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor and at other times at the home.
